Koro and the TANIWHA

WALT- Retell the story of Koro and the taniwha.

I liked when Koro kept tricking the taniwha.

Koro finally knocked all the pigeons out of their tree and quickly paddled home. Half way across the huge lake there was a line of bubbles following up behind him. ROAR!!! said the taniwha. Now I shall eat you. Koro was so scared he had no weapon to use only a paddle so bravely he put the paddle in the taniwha’s mouth.

Wooden arms

WALT- Use information to describe a setting in the story wooden arms.

I LOVED it when the settings kept changing.

The whare stood broken down in the street ,surrounded by huge buildings 3 times its size.Squished in the of a gigantic city heaps of people went to wooden arms they were all shadows.wooden arms was the tinest building out of them all.

Yay Mum just said we are going to a holiday programme i was so excited.my mum only told me this morning so i quickly turned off the tv got up went to my room and got dressed.i got cold clothes because it was a hot day.So i packed my bags with some warm clothes just in case it gets cold.So we all got in the car and drove to kaitaia college.When we all got there Me Mum Lyrik Donna and Peepi aroha. Claire said’okay today we are going to the skate bowl so grab your bike or scooter now so we can go’.Then when we got there.The next day we went to the Library and museum to find where everything was.That's why it was the best holidays.

Hello my first name is karanui my mum and dad said they named me after a waterfall.I live in new Zealand up at kaitaia.I am 8 years old and i go to paparore school.Every weekend i play rugby in under 11's instead of under 9's well that's what i do every saturday and sunday i just ride on my bike and sometimes run.my hobby is singing and dancing.My favourite thing is learning maths, writing,  reading, Mathletics and prototec.I sometimes do Mathletics and reading Maori books.I will put them in order my friends are Maya,Gemini,Bobby,Isabella,Kaydee,Mia,Mikayla and Liv.My favourite food is pizza cake and lollie ice cream.

.Time with family in paradise.

When it was the holidays last year me and my family went on a family hiking trip to paradise. Three times a year we all go for a hike up a very big hill and discover exotic new plants. Mum and Dad said I can take a photo of them all and print them out to put them in my adventure book. Then i had to see if I knew their names so I looked at them and I tried really hard to try and think if I have heard it before but some of them I maybe forgot that name or never heard it before. When we got there Mum told me to set up the picnic so I did it. I saw everything in both of the baskets. There was a  giant cake in one and the other one had fruit,drinks,cups,sushi,pizza,fries and when I was I called everyone to come and eat then we had to pack everything in the basket and went back down the hill and went home and in our car. There was me Mum, Dad, Lyrik ,Donna, Mikayla and Janie.
